Welcome to Sebec Lake Association
Welcome to our association's web site. On our site you will find information about Sebec Lake as well as information for our members. Our photo gallery is open to our members to post Sebec Lake images; check out our most recent photos. Under 'Sebec Lake Association' you can find information about our organization, including our Mission, Bylaws, and Directors, as well as pay your dues, purchase Sebec Lake decals, read our annual meeting minutes, and peruse FAQs. Under 'Sebec Lake', there is information on the history of the area, geographic information, water quality testing results, water clarity and level data, as well as information on the Dam, its agreement with the State, Invasive plant and a map of the watershed area. Our Newsletters are available under What's New. We welcome new members. Dues are only $15 per year.
Anyone who has an interest in Sebec Lake and supports our mission to Preserve and Protect the lake is welcome and encouraged to become a member of the Sebec Lake Association.
Invasive Plants and Sebec Lake. The single most serious and imminent threat to Sebec Lake is invasive plants, such as Eurasian Milfoil, Hydrilla and others. We believe Sebec is currently free from invasives. With Milfoil now reported in nearby Belgrade Lake, keeping Sebec Lake free from infestation will take involvement by all of us who enjoy the lake. We encourage you to view this VLMP video and consider volunteering for the Sebec Invasive Plan Patrol team. Beginning summer 2015, the team will be mapping the vegetation zone of the entire lake, and prepring a Rapid Response Team for managing reports of suspected infestation. If you are interested in joining this team, please contact Director Rudy Davis.
