Invasive Plants and Sebec Lake.  The single most serious and imminent threat to Sebec Lake is invasive plants, such as Eurasian Milfoil, Hydrilla and others.  We believe Sebec is currently free from invasives.  With Milfoil now reported in nearby Belgrade Lake, keeping Sebec Lake free from infestation will take involvement by all of us who enjoy the lake.  We encourage you to view this VLMP video and consider volunteering for the Sebec Invasive Plan Patrol team.  Beginning summer 2015, the team will be mapping the vegetation zone of the entire lake, and prepring a Rapid Response Team for managing reports of suspected infestation.  If you are interested in joining this team, please contact Director Rudy Davis
